  • Adele Kubein, mother of an Oregon National Guardswoman and Executive Board Member, Military Families Speak Out
  • Maxine Fookson, a pediatric nurse practitioner and co-coordinator of No More Victims project to help 6-year-old Mustafa, a badly injured Iraqi boy get medical care in Portland
  • Dr. Baher Butti, secretary general of the Iraqi Society of Oregon and a psychiatrist forced to flee Iraq in 2006, with Ula, his 12-year-old daughter, recently united in Oregon
