  • Military Mother Celeste Zappala, the mother of Sgt. Sherwood Baker, the first Pennsylvania National Guard member killed in the war in Iraq. April 26th marks the 5th anniversary of Sherwood's death.
  • Voices of the mothers in the growing Iraqi community being resettled in Philadelphia. Hear their stories, and learn more about some of the organizations that are helping them to get settled in a new country. The Nationalities Service Center is helping with resettlement, and the Philadelphia Arab-American Community Development Corporation who provides the community English as a second language training - for women by women - and other social services

Includes art work by Iraqi children and sponsored by Iraqi Children's Art Exchange
